Yonge & Eglinton is a bustling midtown intersection once part of the old town of North Toronto. Nicknamed “Yonge and Eligible” for the 20 something professional demographic, the area is surrounded by trendy restaurants and boutique shops. There’s a mix of detached homes and dazzling new condo developments. The Eglinton subway station nearby provides quick transit to downtown and with the development of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, this will surely make the area one of the busiest in Toronto.
